Who we are

We are a small team of professionals from different backgrounds and we came up with the idea of developing a plain-English website to make it easier to find information about spinal conditions. We want to make it easier to be informed about how to self-manage spinal conditions, such as finding exercises to help with back and neck pain, directories to shop for fitness classes, or where to find the nearest late night pharmacy to help with pain on a Sunday.

We can’t provide advice on a one-to-one basis, but as this site grows, the answers to most questions will hopefully become ever-easier to find, or at least provide you with the necessary resources to seek an opinion from the relevant professional local to you.

The articles on this site are evidence-based, with references cited with each piece of work in case you wish to continue with further research yourself.

We do our best to look at spinal problems from all angles, with health professionals from different spinal backgrounds contributing to the site.

We would love to hear from you if you wish to read more about any particular aspect of spine management and we especially like feedback, both as positive encouragement and suggestions for improvement.

The website is financed transparently by sponsorship. We do not share information such as email addresses.
